Odisha CM Mohan Majhi hikes risk allowance of SOG Jawans by Rs 17,000

Bhubaneswar: Appreciating the efforts of the SOG Jawans, Odisha CM Mohan Majhi has announced a Rs 17,000 hike in their risk allowance. In a post on X, CM Majhi has announced to raise the risk allowance of the Special Operations Group (SOG) from Rs 8,000 to Rs 25,000 per month.Taking to X, CM Majhi has praised the SOG jawans for their selfless and valiant efforts in countering the Jawans. He has also hinted at the other major steps that the Odisha Government will be taking in the next few days. This hike in the SOG jawans allowance is a welcoming step and has been appreciated by people.Recently in an exchange of fire, by the combined efforts of SOG jawans, E-30 force of Chhattisgarh Police and CRPF 19 Maoists have been killed. The operations went on for three days and ceased on Wednesday.In the ensuing attack the central committee member of Maoist Jai Ram alias Chalpathy was also killed. This is a major achievement for the security personnel as he was carrying a bounty of Rs 1 crore on his head.
