Mumbai, 23/1: A Mumbai court sentenced filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma to three months in jail in connection with a cheque bounce case on Thursday, reports PTI.
Varma was also ordered to pay Rs 3.72 lakh in compensation to the complainant. Varma reacted to the news and took to X (formerly Twitter) to say, “With regard to the news about me and Andheri court, I want to clarify that it is to do with a 7 year old case
