Jannik Sinner defeats Alexander Zverev to clinch back to back Australian Open title

Melbourne, 26/1: World’s No 1 Jannik Sinner successfully defended his Australian Open crown on Sunday when he defeated Alexander Zverev in a rather lopsided finale. Last year, Sinner had clinched the crown after he defeated Daniil Medvedev in a marathon 5-setter contest.

The World No.1 blasted past his German challenger 6-3, 7-6 (4), 6-3 as he raced through the three sets with a dominant performance. The 23-year-old Italian is also the youngest man to leave Melbourne Park with the trophy two years in a row since Jim Courier in 1992-93
