Angul: A man and a woman reportedly died under suspicious circumstances in Angul district of Odisha yesterday. Reportedly, they were drunk though the reason of death might by due to electrocution. The incident took place in the Godimunda Sahi under Bantala Police Station limits in the district. The deceased man and woman have been identified as Sura Pradhan and Sukanti Pradhan respectively. As per reports, the two were working in a farm house owned by someone else. They either died by poison or electrocution. Electric wire had been spread in the area for elephants. However, the exact reason of their death is yet to be ascertained. Soon after the incident they were taken to the hospital. However, the doctors declared them dead at the district headquarters hospital of Angul. Death due to electric wire or alcohol poisoning suspected. The Bantala police have recovered the bodies and are investigating the cause of death. The cause of death will be clear after the autopsy report comes, Police said.
