India-England one-day cricket match at Barabati stadium: CM to visit today, ticket counter place changed

Cuttack: Ahead of the India England One-Day cricket match on 9th February, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will visit Barabati Stadium in Cuttack today to review preparations for this international match. The Chief Minister will arrive at 11:30 am at the Stadium. The international cricket match is going to be held on February 9th. The international match will be held in Barabati Stadium after approximately 5 years. Last time the match had been played here in 2029. Large crowd of cricket fans are seen excited for the match. On the other hand, the locations of the cricket counters at Barabati stadium has been changed. Keeping in view the traffic issue, the ticket counters which were on the main road side of Cuttack Barabati Stadium have been shifted. The counters have been moved inside instead of keeping them on the main road. The Odisha Cricket Association shifted them late last night. OCA’s Vishnu Prasad Mohapatra was present at the Stadium and supervised the shifting work. This time, special arrangements are being made for women. Women will have to stand in a separate queue to buy tickets. There will be one women only counter for every three common counters. A total of six ticket counters will be available for sale. It is to be noted that online ticket sales for the said match will start from February 2. Tickets will be sold for common spectators at the counters for two days, on February 5 and 6, 2025.
