Kendrapara: An robber gang stole jewellery worth Rs 10 lakh and hard cash worth Rs 2 lakh from a house at Bhuinpur balisahi village under Aul police station in Kendrapara district. The looters locked the door from outside and stole the valuables on Friday. According to information, late on Friday night, over five miscreants entered into one Narayan Sahu’s house. The miscreants carried out the burglary by closing the door from outside. The miscreants at first entered the house tip-toed through the main door. Then they locked the room from outside in which the people were sleeping. They broke opened the door of the almirah and stole away jewellery worth Rs 10 lakh and hard cash of Rs 2 lakh. As the thieves escaped from the house, the greed in their minds grew stronger. Then they allegedly tried to steal from three more houses in the area. This series burglary in Kendrapara has terrified the residents.
