New Delhi, 3/2: Rupee slumped by 54 paise to an all-time low of 87.16 against the US dollar in early trade on Monday.
This comes days after the Union Budget. The rupee had pared initial losses and settled for the day higher by 3 paise at 86.59 (provisional) against the US dollar on Friday, as the support from positive domestic equities was negated by unabated foreign fund outflows and month-end dollar demand
