4 dead, 18 injured in mini bus tanker collision in Madhya Pradesh

Indore: In a tragic incident as many as four people have been killed and 18 have been injured in a mini bus tanker collision in Madhya Pradesh. According to reports, there was a mini bus-tanker collision. It is worth mentioning that, the Additional Collector Raushan Ray told ANI, “The incident happened at around 4 am near Manpur in Mhow between a bus, a tanker and a bike where four people died on the spot and two people in the hospital, 16 people are being treated and two are critical.” He further said that, “the administration is trying to make sure that best possible treatment is provided along with any possible financial help. The family members of the affected people are being contacted continuously.” Last year, as many as 14 people lost their lives while 21 others were injured in an accident in Madhya Pradesh. The accident took place in Dindori district, under the limits of Shahpura police station, said reliable reports in this regard. According to reports, the pickup van carrying passengers was returning from a ‘godh bharai’ function when the accident took place. Reportedly, the driver of the van lost control of the vehicle, due to which it overturned. The injured people were rushed to the Community Health Centre in Shahpura for immediate medical attention. Meanwhile, the bodies of the deceased have been sent for port mortem. The identities of the deceased in the Madhya Pradesh road accident are yet to be ascertained. Officials from the local police station arrived at the spot and initiated an investigation into the matter.
