Cuttack: The Commissionerate Police arrested at least 7 persons for black marketing of tickets of the India versus England One Day match that is to be held on February 9 at the famous Barabati Stadium in Cuttack of Odisha. As per reports, while 3 people have been arrested under the Dargah Bazaar police station limits, the 4 others were arrested under the Cantonment police station limits. Police have seized 25 tickets from them, 30 thousand rupees, 3 mobile phones, and 2 bikes. To further check black marketing of tickets for this most awaited cricket match, Commissionaire police has taken concrete steps to stop the black marketing of tickets for the upcoming cricket match on 09.02.25. In total 4 FIRs have been registered in this connection, 7 persons have been arrested, 25 tickets have been seized and Rs 30,000 cash, a few mobile phones and bikes have also been seized.
