Jajpur: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi started the distribution of Subhadra yojana money to the beneficiaries. He disbursed the money at a state-level programme at Chandama ground of Korei constituency in Jajpur district. The fourth phase money of the first installment was given today.Over Rs 900 crore was disbursed under this flagship scheme for the financial empowerment of women. As many as 18 lakh women will get the Rs 5,000 money today.Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling and Minister of Co-operation, Handlooms, Textiles and Handicrafts Pradeep Bal Samanta and Jajpur MP Dr. Rabindra Narayana Behera and other MLAs were also present at the programme.
