Odisha CM’s Grievance Cell to remain closed tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi’s Grievance Cell, situated at Bhubaneswar Unit-5, will remain closed tomorrow i.e on February 10. The General Administration and Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department informed that the CM’s Grievance Cell will remain closed tomorrow and the CM will not be able to hear the grievances of the public due to his earlier schedule for very important work. The next date for hearing of the public grievances by the Chief Minister at the Cell will be communicated through different media platforms, informed the Department. A couple of days ago Majhi himself and his office warned of stern action against officers for neglecting timely redressal of public grievances. Nikunja Bihari Dhal, the Additional Chief Secretary to the CM, had intimated about this to chief secretary Manoj Ahuja, Director General of Police (DGP) Yogesh Bahadur Khurania, all secretaries and heads of departments. “After a review of the status of all applications received in the CM’s grievance cell, it was found out that a majority of cases are pending at different levels for disposal.
