Bhubaneswar, February 11, 2025 – Odisha Discoms, joint ventures of Tata Power and the
Government of Odisha, felicitated the winners of the second edition of the widely
celebrated photography contest, ‘Oh My Beautiful Odisha 2.0’ at a grand ceremony in
Bhubaneswar.
This year’s theme, 'Cultural Heritage of Odisha', attracted over 5,000 submissions from
photographers across diverse backgrounds. Participants showcased the state’s rich cultural,
natural and architectural legacy, with the winning entries featured in the Odisha Discoms
2025 Calendar.
The event was graced by Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of
Odisha, as the Chief Guest. He was joined by Mr. Sanjay Banga, President- T&D, Tata Power,
the CEOs of Odisha Discoms – Mr. Arvind Singh, CEO, TPCODL, Mr. Dwijadas Basak, CEO,
TPNODL and Mr. Amit Garg, CEO, TPSODL along with other senior dignitaries.
Their inspiring words celebrated the winners’ exceptional artistic contributions, which
beautifully captured the essence of Odisha. The 13 winners received a cash prize of Rs.
15,000 each, along with an opportunity to feature in the Odisha Discoms 2025 Calendar.
Speaking at the event, the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Kanak Vardhan
Singh Deo said, “Odisha, a state rich in cultural heritage and diversity, is home to
breathtaking landscapes and vibrant traditions. I express my heartfelt gratitude to Tata
