Malkangiri BSF makes big success: Maoist dump recovered from forest

Malkangiri: Malkangiri BSF has made a big success as a Maoist dump has been recovered from the forest in Odisha. The Maoist dump was recovered from the Silakota forest of Malkangiri district during a combing operation by the BSF jawans. As per reports, the Maoists had targeted to harm security personnel. They dug holes in the forest at two different places to bury bombs. During the combing operation security personnel have seized 5 litter pressure cooker bombs, gelatine, 5 litter, 3 litter and 2 litter tin bombs, electric wire, detonator, mobile phone, power bank, SBM machine gun etc. from the dump. The Silakota forest is adjacent to the Chhattisgarh border. So the Maoists were planning a big plan to target security personnel. This Maoist dump was recovered during an operation by BSF’s Second Battalion jawans. After repeated combing operation in Chhattisgarh forests Maoists are now trying to take shelter in Malkangiri district of Odisha. Therefore, Malkangiri Police and BSF have tightened security and intensified combing operations in the border areas.
