Gunupur:(Correspondent) :– The School of Management at GIET University successfully hosted its two-day annual management fest, Spandan 1.0. The event, held in the university’s mega auditorium, featured distinguished speakers and interactive sessions aimed at enhancing students’ understanding of management and career prospects.
The chief guest for the occasion was Aditya Badu, Head of the Human Resources Department at Deloitte, Bhubaneswar. He delivered an insightful talk on future career paths for management students and emerging business strategies. The event also welcomed guest speakers, including Piyush Ranjan Prusty, Associate Director at First Source, Bangalore, and Avinash Sutar, a certified corporate trainer, who shared their expertise on skill development.
GIET University’s Vice-Chancellor, Dr. A.V.N.L. Sharma, addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of self-reliance in their future careers. The event commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Soumendra Das, Head of the School of Management and concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Debashish Mohapatro.
The fest included various student competitions, a campus marathon held in the morning, and an evening cultural program where winners of different contests were awarded certificates and prizes.
