Police arrests 7 miscreants in Keonjhar high-profile Mining VP kidnapping case

Keonjhar: The Keonjhar police cracked the high-profile Keonjhar mining VP kidnapping case and arrested seven people in this connection. On February 7, the mining Vice President was kidnapped. According to information, the VP of the Mining company identified as Nimananda Pradhan was kidnapped. The Barbil police arrested 7 accused and seized eight mobiles, one toy gun and 50,90,000 out of the ransom amount of 60 lakhs.  All the accused have been arrested and court forwarded. Police, after investigation said that the miscreants had kidnapped him with the help of one of his office drivers. One year ago, accused Sadab Khan had hatched a plan with driver Firoz. The driver distributed laddoos in his office saying that he had bought a new car. Nimananda’s driver Akash and another one driver lost consciousness as the laddoos were spiked. As per their plan, Nimananda asked the other driver Firoz to drop him at his hose. Taking advantage of this he kidnapped him and took him to Jharkhand. The kidnapper then asked a ransom amount of Rs 2 crore from his family. Nimananda’s wife lodged a complaint in this regard with the Barbil police.
