Error In Class X Science Question Paper; BSE Assures Fair Evaluation

Bhubaneswar: Class X Students appearing for High School Certificate (HSC) examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) were left stunned when they discovered a shocking error in the Science set-C question papers. As per reports, the students found that they had been allotted four marks less than the total marks prescribed for the Science set-c paper. Soon, students and teachers swiftly raised the error, prompting BSE to go for a review. According to students, a 4-mark question was missing from the ‘C’ set paper. As a result, they ended up answering a 46-mark paper instead of the intended 50 marks. Meanwhile, BSE has acknowledged the mistake and assured students that corrective action will be taken. Reassuring students, BSE President Srikant Tarai stated, “Although the question was missing, it will not adversely impact students. We will take this issue into consideration during the evaluation of answer sheets, ensuring a fair assessment for all.”
