Darlipali, March 03, 2025: The 54th National Safety Day was celebrated at NTPC
Darlipali with a strong emphasis on the theme “Safety and Well-being Crucial for
Viksit Bharat,” marking a significant commitment towards ensuring safety in all
aspects of work and life. The program was graced by the esteemed presence of Shri
Ram Bhajan Malik, BUH, NTPC Darlipali, hoisted the flag and administered the
safety pledge, symbolizing the commitment to safety within the organization.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Malik emphasized the need for all contract workers,
associates and employees to remain alert and urged them to adopt behaviour-based
safety practices to improve safety culture. The Business Unit Head also said the
objective is to renew the commitment of employees and the public to working safely
to achieve zero accident goals.
In his address, Shri Ram Bhajan Malik emphasized that safety is not just a policy but
a collective responsibility that all employees must embrace to ensure a sustainable
and prosperous future for the company and the nation at large.
During the event, Shri Hare Ram Singh, GM (O&M), briefed the gathering on the vital
role in achieving the larger vision of a "Viksit Bharat" (Developed India) and stressed
the importance of continuous safety practices at the workplace. He also urged
people to follow road safety rules and regulations to avoid any untoward incidents.
All Section Heads, employees, executive associations, CISF officials, agency project
managers and contract workers were present on the auspicious occasion.
The event was hosted by Smt. Biswa Varati Ghadai, DGM(Chemistry) and Sh.
Achutananda Mohanty, DGM, Safety, in the presence of distinguished guests.
