Tikiri: : Aditya Alumina Refinery, Kansariguda, a unit of Hindalco Industries Limited of Aditya Birla Group has successfully launched a flagship Project named “KAUSHAL’’ on 8th March 2025 at Phuljoba. The project is a pioneering skill development initiative aimed at enhancing employability among local youth. Under this project, 1st batch ITI Training of local youth was officially inaugurated today by Mr. Mazhar Beig, Unit Head & President, Aditya Alumina Refinery followed by launching of Project Logo “Kaushal”. This marks a significant milestone under CSR initiative of Aditya Alumina Refinery, towards fostering sustainable livelihoods through skill enhancement for local youth. This launch event was witnessed by ITI aspirant students, Parents, community leaders, opinion makers, senior management and officials from Aditya Alumina Refinery.
In the first phase of the project, 50 ITI aspirants from local community are made ready to embark on the journey for shaping up their career in the field of technical skills in electrical and fitter stream. These students will undergo 2 years technical ITI course followed by 1 year on the job training at Bhubaneswar.
Speaking on the occasion, The Unit Head & President Sri Mazhar Beig extended his best wishes to the selected candidates and encouraged them to peruse their 2 years course with sincerity and dedication. In his deliberation, he mentioned launching of apparel training program for the youth girls of this region. Mr. Beig applauded that we are confident in this initiative that it will make a significant difference in building a skilled workforce for the future.
