Exploitation of minor girls in Rajasthan’s Bijai Nagar town leads to bandh call

Bhilwara: In a unique protest, there has been a bandh in a town in Rajasthan opposing the exploitation of minor girls said reports on Monday. According to reports, on the shutdown in the city over the alleged exploitation of minor girls in Bijai Nagar town, SP Dharmendra Singh Yadav told the media that till now it has been peaceful. He said, “The Hindu community called for a ‘bandh’ for today. All the communities are requested to stay calm. There is a heavy police deployment, and the sensitive areas are being monitored via drones.” He further added, “There is also a rooftop deployment. We request that no community forcefully impose the ‘Bandh’; people may follow the shutdown voluntarily. Around 500 police personnel are deployed. Senior officers are also on the ground.” He further said, “We are getting an overall view from all the cameras for better monitoring…”
