Mathura: A 32-year-old man operates on self after watching YouTube gets admitted to hospital in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura. The man was identified as Raja Babu, who was experiencing severe abdominal pain since few days, when he couldn’t control the pain anymore he operated on himself after watching YouTube videos which worsened his condition. According to the reports, Raja Babu didn’t find any relief in his pain even after consulting several doctors and taking medicines. So, he decided to take the matters into his own hands. He watched several videos on YouTube, and then purchased medicines from a medical store and attempted the surgery on himself based on what he saw online. In a statement given by Raja Babu, he went to Mathura and bought a surgical blade, stitching materials and anesthetic injections, after which he started operating on himself in his closed room. On Wednesday morning, he started operating on himself in his room. After a while when the anaesthesia wore off, he started experiencing extreme pain and ran outside screaming. His family was stunned and immediately took him to hospital. Raja Babu had undergone appendix surgery before, and is now again suffering the same. The self-operation only made his condition worse and is now getting treatment in Agra’s SN hospital.
