Balasore: A special drive against illegal cattle transportation was successfully conducted in Balasore district of Odisha on Sunday. The special drive was carried out by the Eastern Range of Balasore yesterday in which 7 arrested and 87 cattle seized. As per reports, the special drive against drive, carried out in accordance with laws governing cattle transportation, yielded impressive results. In this drive reportedly, 87 cattle seized, 7 accused persons arrested, 6 vehicles seized and 7 numbers of Police cases have been registered. This drive showcases the Police’s commitment to enforcing laws and protecting animal welfare. The authorities have pledged to continue taking strong action against those involved in illegal cattle transportation.
