CM announces ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh for family of deceased in Dhenkanal accident

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh for the family of the deceased labourers in the Dhenkanal accident. The CMO in its X handle wrote,” Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed grief over the road accident near Rekula village under Kamakhyanagar police station in Dhenkanal district. The Chief Minister has expressed his deepest condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased. He has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for the next of kin of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the accident.” According to information, three labourers were killed after a dumper hit them in Rekula Satsang centre in Dhenkanal district on Monday. The three were rushed to SCB Medical College but later died on Tuesday. Following the death of the labourers on Tuesday, the locals staged a protest by burning tyres and blocking roads.
