Odisha Dibas Samaroha 2025 to be celebrated on Utkal Divas in New Delhi

New Delhi: Odisha Dibas Samaroha 2025 to be celebrated on the occasion of Utkal Divas in New Delhi today at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium. Under the guidance of renowned Odia artist Gajendra Sahu, a display of art, culture and the tourist spots of Odisha will be displayed. Art works on the theme of Dola Yatra, Bali Yatra, Chhau dance will be displayed. The rich cuisines of Odisha will also be distributed. The program will be attended by Odisha CM Mohan Majhi, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta, Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Ashwini Vaishaw and Jual Oram. A cultural programme will be performed by music director Premananda and his troupe. Similarly, eminent Odissi dancer Saswat Joshi will also perform in the cultural programme. On this day, 90 years ago Odisha received the statehood in 1936. It was the first state to receive statehood on the basis of language. Following Odisha, other states of Andhra Pradesh and the like were carved out.
