Kalinganagar, April 1, 2025: Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL), under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, successfully conducted a three-day training programme on stainless steel fabrication at its Kaliapani Mines unit from March 19 to March 21. The training provided youth from nearby villages with hands-on skills in stainless steel fabrication while highlighting its numerous benefits.
A total of 54 youth registered for the programme, out of which 32 successfully completed the training. The sessions were conducted by Mr Krishnan Garg from Stainless Academy, the training and awareness branch of Jindal Stainless Limited, who also assessed the trainees’ knowledge and skills at the end of the programme.
The training programme was inaugurated by Regional Head, CSR, Mr Sukant Rath along with other key officials from Jindal Stainless, who emphasized the significance of the initiative and its potential to create employment opportunities for local youth. Senior leadership from JSL, including Senior Vice President, Mr Awanindra Kumar Singh, and Head, JSL Mines, Mr Ramiyaranjan Roy accompanied by other senior management members graced the occasion and awarded certificates to the trainees upon completion of the programme.
Jindal Stainless remains committed to empowering local communities through skill development initiatives. Till date, the company has conducted numerous stainless steel fabrication training programs across the country, training over 10,000 fabricators in FY25 alone and equipping them with essential skills for sustainable employment.
