Vizianagaram: In a shocking incident, the Nagavali Express (20810) derailed near Vizianagaram railway station on Wednesday said reports. The train left Visakhapatnam at around 11.40 am to reach Vizianagaram and go to Sambalpur. Within moments of departure, two coaches derailed near the station. It is worth mentioning that, no one was injured in the accident. The last two coaches of a train coming from Vizianagaram railway station derailed at the Venkata Lakshmi Theatre junction. As the train was moving slowly, no lives were lost. Railway officials removed the derailed coaches and sent the rest of the train as usual. Railway officials and passengers were relieved as there was no loss of life. Reacently on March 30, the Kamakhya Express train had derailed near Choudwar of Odisha a little ago today. The train reportedly derailed near the passenger halt of Manguli in Choudwar area. As per reports, the Bengaluru-Kamakhya Superfast Express train derailed near Choudwar of Odisha. At least 11 bogies of the train have derailed. The derailment took place at 11.54 am. One person has been reported to have died in this mishap while many passengers are feared injured. The train derailed at Nirgundi near Manguli in Choudhwar. Rescue operations are underway at the scene. Due to heat wave, passengers are in panic and in badly need of water. The bogies from B-6 to B-14 have derailed. The bogies of the train have fallen off the track and landed in the nearby forest and fields. As a result, many passengers jumped off the train. The railways have informed that other trains scheduled to run on this line have been cancelled.
