Odisha CM administers Khadi Chhuan to students in Shishu Vatika

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has officially inaugurated the Shishu Vatikas in all the primary schools in the state. Odisha CM Mohan Majhi himself administered the customary ritual of ‘Khadi Chhuan’ to the first time students. Taking part in the programme in Badagada highschool, the CM interacted with the children and officiated the implementation of the NEP 2020. The School and Mass Education Commissioner-cum-Secretary Shalini Pundit. The students were welcomed by smearing Chandan on their foreheads and welcoming with flowers in the ‘Pravesh Utsav’. Further the students were distributed the welcome kits. The new students in Shishu Vatikas visited the classrooms and saw the literacy stations, number station, creative stations and others. On the second day, groups of new and old students will be done in the ‘Kuni Sangata’ programme. On the closing day, children will take an oath and a Whatsapp group of the parents will be done to circulate important information.
