Nayagarh: In a sad incident, a pickup van overturned in Nayagardh district of Odisha yesterday leaving as many as ten Danda artists injured. Out of them five have turned critical. The accident took place at the Madhapur chhaka in Fatehgarh area of Nayagarh district. As per reports, yesterday, more than 20 artists were going to perform Danda dance in a pickup van. The pickup van overturned near Madhapur. As a matter of coincidence, Khandapada MLA Dusmanta Kumar Swain was passing through that road at that time. He stopped his vehicle and rescued the injured and rushed them to the hospital in his vehicle. Five of the 10 injured people have been shifted to Bhubaneswar as their condition turned critical. People are admiring the noble service of the MLA.
