Bhubaneswar : A moment of pride for Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) as nine of its students have been selected to represent the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha at the 68th National School Games 2024-25 in Sepak Takraw and Football events, scheduled to be held in Imphal, Manipur from April 15 to 21, 2025.
Three KISS students namely, Jayaprakash Mundary, Gura Majhi, and Chandray Murmu have secured their spots in the CHSE Sepak Takraw (Boys) team. Additionally, six talented girl footballers from KISS namely, Anajla Mundary, Chandrika Sing, Seema Naik, Barsha Dharua, Julame Santa and Nandini Oram will proudly don the CHSE jersey in the Football (Girls) team.
Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT, KISS, and KIMS, expressed his immense pride and joy over the students’ achievement. He congratulated the selected athletes and extended his best wishes, urging them to make Odisha, CHSE and KISS proud on the national stage.
The Secretary of CHSE, Odisha also conveyed his congratulations to both the Sepak Takraw & Football teams, wished them continued success and excellence in their sporting endeavors.
