Bhubaneswar: The state of Odisha is witnessing rainfall as a result of the western disturbances and trough line changes. The rainfall in Odisha is likely to continue for the next seven days. According to IMD, light to moderate rainfall can be experienced in several parts. In the afternoon, thunderstorm and lightning can be experienced. A gusty windspeed of 40 to 50 kmphr. As many as 9 districts have been issued an orange warning while 19 districts have been issued a yellow warning. Seventeen districts have been issued a yellow warning for rainfall for tomorrow. The rainfall in the state is likely to continue for the next seven days as an impact of Kalabaisakhi. The farmers have been given an advisory as the rain is likely to damage the crops. They have been asked to sow the crop ready for harvesting.
