New Delhi, 2/3 (AO Bureau):Senior Congress leader Anand Sharma criticized the party’s tie-up with the Indian Secular Front (ISF) led by Muslim religious leader Abbas Siddiqui in West Bengal on Monday, saying that it was the party’s core ideology and Gandhian and Nehruvian is against secularism. Sharma said that the party cannot be selective in the fight against ‘communalism’. We have to fight against all forms of communalism. ”In response, Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary, president of the Bengal unit of Congress, has also replied to Sharma.
Former Union Minister Sharma is among the 23 party leaders who wrote a letter to Congress President Sonia Gandhi, demanding an organizational change in the party. Sharma said that the issue of ‘alliance’ should have been discussed with a radical party like ISF and it should have been approved by the Congress Working Committee (CWC).
