In a recent skirmish, a TMC worker was beaten, causing severe injuries. Mamta was going to the same party worker’s house on Tuesday. Meanwhile, BJP supporters raised slogans of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ in front of him. The clash between BJP-Trinamool Congress workers in Nandigram, three injured
At least three persons were injured in a clash between BJP and Trinamool Congress workers on March 27 in the Nandigram assembly constituency of West Bengal. Election agent Sheikh Sufiyan of Trinamool Congress president Mamata Banerjee had claimed that BJP goons went on to attack the ruling party workers in the state. At the same time, the saffron party has denied these allegations. Sufiyan had claimed, “All the three activists injured in the incident belong to the Trinamool Congress.” He had alleged that BJP goons have created terror in Nandigram for last 15 days.

On the other hand, the local BJP leaders had rejected the claim of the Trinamool leader that the state’s ruling party workers were disturbing the peace in the constituency.
