Covishield and Covaxin vaccines are on the verge of being available in the country : Dr Harsh Vardhan

New Delhi, 7/1 (AO Bureau)Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan said that both Covishield and Covaxin vaccines are on the verge of being available in the country and their final delivery will be ensured soon. The Health Minister said that as per the advice by the group of experts constituted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, some priority groups have been set for Vaccination. On the basis of this, vaccination will be done in the country. In a meeting with Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan, health ministers of all states and union territories reviewed the response to the Covid Vaccine Dry Run in four states. We have made improvements based on feedback. Dry runs will be conducted in 33 states and union territories on Friday.

The Health Minister said that we must ensure that any misinformation or misleading campaign being spread about the vaccine is not successful. Dr. Harshvardhan said that Maharashtra, Kerala, and Chhattisgarh have seen a sudden increase in coronavirus cases recently. This warns us that we should not forget the precautions and continue our fight against Kovid-19. Regarding the Corona Warriors, Dr. Harsh Vardhan said that we should appreciate our Kovid warriors. We are saluting our health workers and scientists alike.
