Jeypore, 10/1 (AO Bureau ) : In a major development the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of Mumbai Police arrested a man from his native village Kalaguda, under Sadar Police limits of Koraput district, late on Saturday night.
As per the statement released by Jeypore Sadar Police, the ATS team led by sub-inspector Asish Thakur arrested Khagapati Pangi from his village and took him to Nagpur for interrogation in connection with ganja trade. He was arrested for smuggling cannabis.
A police official said Pangi used to supply ganja to Nagpur. He was arrested in connection with a case ATS CR No-04/21 U/s 20/22 NDPS Act and has been taken to the ATS Nagpur office for further investigation.
