Washington DC, 3/2 (AO Bureau): In a major development, Amazon.com announced that the founder of Amazon Jeff Bezos will step down as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Amazon.com. He will become the executive chairman.
Andy Jassy, who heads Amazon Web Services will replace Jeff Bezos as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Jeff Bezos built Amazon from scratch and turned it into an e-commerce giant.
In a letter to Amazon employees, Bezos said he would “stay engaged in important Amazon initiative”
“I’ve never had more energy, and this isn’t about retiring,” Bezos wrote in the letter.
“I’m super passionate about the impact I think these organizations can have.” he added
