Nashik, 9/3 (Ao bureau): Due to increasing cases of Coronavirus infection, the district administration of Nashik ( in Maharashtra has decided to impose a weekend lockdown. The number of cases of coronavirus in the district has increased from 626 to 1,26,570 on Monday. During this, 389 people recovered while six people died. So far 2,140 people have been killed in the district due to Corona. At the same time, 1,20,204 people have been discharged.
Implementing the ban after Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray reviewed the situation, the district administration said that marriages will not be allowed from March 15. Weddings that have already been given permission have been asked to be disposed of by March 15. After this, no permission will be granted till the next order.
Except for shops engaged in essential services, all shops and establishments will be closed from 7 pm to 7 am. The restaurants will be closed by 9 pm. However, home delivery will be allowed till 11 pm. Schools, colleges, coaching classes will be closed in Nashik city, Malegaon, and some other rural areas.
