Thane, 11/3 (AO Bureau) : The coronavirus situation in Maharashtra is deteriorating. Nagpur has been completely locked down in view of the growing Corona cases. Nagpur in-charge of minister Nitin Rawat made the announcement today. The entire lockdown will continue in the city from March 15 to March 21. No one in the city will be allowed to go out, only shops will be open for essentials.
However, 1,410 new cases were reported in Nagpur on Wednesday. This was Corona’s highest recorded case in 143 days. The Nagpur Municipal Corporation on Wednesday said, “Women and people between the ages of 20 and 40 are being infected in the corona’s new case.” “Even then, people are taking Corona lightly,” he said.
A total lock-down has been announced in the 18 COVID-19 hotspots identified in the Thane Metropolitan Corporation area of Maharashtra from March 7 to March 31. With the increase in the number of Covid-19 hotspots, there is a risk that the infection will spread to other areas.
