Mumbai, 25/3 (AO Bureau): Some states have imposed lockdown due to the increase in Covid-19 cases
Lockdown in Maharashtra
As of March 1, Parbhan district has recorded 1,132 new cases, bringing the total to 5,843 as of March 22.
The lockdown was imposed from March 25 to April 4 in Nanded, Maharashtra. The city will be closed for eleven days. From March 26 to April 4, the Parbhan district of Maharashtra will be completely closed.
Lockdown in Punjab
On Monday, Punjab reported 2,319 fresh cowboy-19 cases, up from 2,15,409. The Punjab government had imposed strict restrictions since Saturday. All educational institutions, except medical and nursing colleges, have been ordered to close by March 31.
Exceptions include marriages, funerals and cremation with 20 people The 50 percent power ban will be in theaters and no more than 100 people will be in one mall at a time.
Lockdown in Madhya Pradesh
Ratlam, Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur, and four other cities, and Khargon will be closed on Sunday. In addition, public meetings are also banned for all upcoming festivals in the state.
Lockdown in Gujarat
The state government last week extended night curfews in four cities – Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, and Rajkot.
