New Delhi, 28/5 (Ao Bureau):Prime Minister Narendra Modi has conducted an aerial survey in Odisha and West Bengal to take stock of the devastation caused by the Yas storm. PM Modi has also announced a relief package of Rs 1 thousand crore immediately. Out of this, 500 crores have been given for Odisha and 500 crores for West Bengal-Jharkhand. PM Modi also held a review meeting in Bhubaneswar on Friday. He got information about all the efforts being made related to rescue operations.
The PM has assured Odisha, West Bengal and Jharkhand that all necessary help will be provided. An inter-ministerial team will be formed to assess the devastation. Apart from this, financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh has been announced for the families of those who lost their lives in the storm and Rs 50,000 for the seriously injured
