Vaccination certificate or RT-PCR report compulsory for entry into Punjab

Chandigarh, 14/8: Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has made it mandatory for all people entering Punjab from other states to show a certificate of both doses of the corona vaccine or a negative RT-PCR report from Monday. In this order issued on Saturday, instructions have also been given for strict monitoring of people coming from Himachal Pradesh and Jammu, where the rate of infection has increased in recent times.

 

Amidst the news of increasing cases of corona in schools, the Chief Minister has also directed that only teaching and non-teaching staff who have been vaccinated or recently recovered from corona will be allowed to go to schools and colleges. At the same time, the option of online education will also be available for all the children.

 

 

 

Annnouncement of separate vaccination camp for teachers

Along with this, he ordered to give priority to teachers and non-teaching staff for vaccination. Along with this, he decided to organize special vaccination camps to ensure that all of them are given the first dose by the end of this month and priority should be given in the second dose as well. Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu suggested reducing the gap between the two doses of the vaccine, so that teachers and other school staff could be given the second dose at the earliest.
