New Delhi, 31/8: There is a continuous ups and downs in the daily cases of Coronavirus infection in the country. According to the data released on Tuesday, 30,941 new cases of corona (Covid 19) have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. At the same time, the cases of corona in some states are worrying. Regarding this, the head of Epidemiology and Communicable Diseases of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Dr. Samiran Panda has said that the states which did not show horror during the second wave of corona infection, now corona cases are increasing in those states. This is an early sign of the third wave of corona virus infection. Dr. Panda said that it is important not to talk about India as a whole and instead adopt a state-specific approach as the situation is not the same in all states. He says that various states, taking lessons from states like Maharashtra and Delhi, started imposing restrictions on covid 19 and increasing vaccination. Due to this, the second wave of corona could not become serious in many states. Due to this there is a possibility of a third wave.
