Jaipur, 29/9: The by-elections for two assembly seats of Rajasthan, Vallabhnagar and Pratapgarh (Rajasthan Assembly by-election) have been announced. After this, it is now being speculated that the issue of expansion or reshuffle of Ashok Gehlot cabinet may be postponed once again. Although there is no such compulsion on the part of the Election Commission that the government cannot do this, but still governments have generally avoided it. Due to this, the wait for the Sachin Pilot group to participate in power can also be long. Voting will be held on 30 October for Vallabhnagar and Pratapgarh’s Dhariawad assembly seats in Udaipur district of Rajasthan. On Tuesday, the Election Commission had announced the assembly by-elections to be held in Rajasthan and other states.
According to party sources, meetings of senior leaders are going on in Delhi to resolve the ongoing political crisis in the Rajasthan Congress. Before the by-elections were announced, it was believed that a new formula for resolving the Gehlot-pilot dispute and reshuffling the cabinet had been worked out. It can be implemented in the month of October. But after the announcement of the by-elections on Tuesday, once again the clouds of apprehension have started hovering over him. Due to this, the Sachin Pilot faction, the arch rival of the Gehlot government in the party, may have to wait a little longer
