New Delhi, 1/10: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is going to release the result and final answer key of NTPC CBT 1 recruitment exam soon. More than 1 crore candidates have appeared in the examination who are now waiting for their results. Let us inform that the Railways had issued a notification for the recruitment of about 35 thousand vacant posts of NTPC. In such a situation, lakhs of candidates will be shortlisted only after the first round of examination.
The board has not yet released the category wise cut-off information for the candidates but it is possible that the cut-off is going to be very high. The board will qualify only a limited number of candidates for the next round. The candidates who will qualify in CBT 1 will be eligible to appear in CBT 2. It is possible that only about 2.5 lakh candidates will be declared qualified by the board and all other candidates will be thrown out only after the first round.
Considering the tough competition, it is possible that the cut-off for the unreserved category may also remain close to 80. The cut-off score is also expected to be very high for the reserved category candidates. The board has not yet announced the result date.
