Mumbai,13/10: The bail plea of seven accused, including Aryan Khan, arrested in the Mumbai drugs case, will be heard today. After the dismissal of the petition by the Magistrate Court, the bail plea of the accused will be heard in the special court at around 11 am today. The magistrate court had rejected the bail plea citing lack of jurisdiction. Apart from this, there is a possibility that the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) may oppose Aryan Khan’s bail plea. It is reported that the investigating agency has got new clues in the case.
A report published in India Today quoted sources as saying that the agency has received new information. The interrogation of the accused by NCB will also be presented before the court. The NCB had claimed that banned drugs were recovered from some people on the cruise ship. The investigating agency had indicated an “international gang” and called for a probe. The NDPS court on Monday issued an order to the NCB asking it to file its reply in the matter by October 13.
