Mumbai,6/11: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) may file a petition against the bail of Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik’s son-in-law Sameer Khan in the case registered against him. The NCB on Friday withdrew the matter from NCB’s Mumbai Regional Director Sameer Wankhede. At present, the matter is with the Operational Unit of NCB Delhi, which is headed by DDG Dnyaneshwar Singh. Sources said the SIT may now approach the court to quash the bail granted to Malik’s son-in-law Sameer Khan. It is believed that this move of NCB can lead to a political dispute. Ministers in the Maharashtra government have been a constant attacker against the NCB. According to news agency ANI, the decision to challenge the bail was taken early last month.
