Goa,19/12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Goa renovated Fort Aguada Jail Museum, Super Specialty Block at Goa Medical College, New South Goa District Hospital, Aviation Skill Development Center at Mopa Airport and Gas-insulated at Davorlim, Navelim in Goa Inaugurated several development projects including substations. After this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the program. PM Modi said, the land of Goa, the air of Goa, the sea of ​​Goa have got a wonderful gift of nature. Today, this enthusiasm of all of you on the land of Goa is adding to the pride of liberation in the winds of Goa.

 

Addressing the program in Goa, PM Modi said, “Today Goa is not only celebrating the Diamond Jubilee of its liberation but also the memories of this journey of 60 years are in front of us. We also have a saga of struggle and sacrifices before us, the results of the hard work and dedication of lakhs of Goans, due to which we have come a long way.

 

He said, Goa had gone under Portugal at a time when the other large part of the country was ruled by the Mughals. After that, this country has seen so many political storms, how much power has been slammed. Even after centuries of distance between time and the upheaval of powers, neither Goa has forgotten its Indianness, nor has India forgotten its Goa. This is a relationship that has only become stronger with time.
