The longest bridge in Odisha has been inaugurated by the Chief Minister

New Delhi, 20/12: Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated the longest bridge over the river at Badamba Gopinathpur. The 3.4-kilometer-long bridge is about the size of an English T-axis. This is the first T bridge in the state. It was a long-standing demand of the locals. The inauguration of this much-anticipated bridge by the Chief Minister today has created a great deal of excitement among the people of the area.

Rs 111 crore has been invested in this. Chief Minister Shri Patnaik laid the foundation stone for this in 2014.

After the inauguration of the bridge, the Chief Minister asked the people present, “Are you happy?” And the people thanked the Chief Minister with joy.

The bridge connects Badamba Narsinghpur to the rest of the country, as well as the Singhnath Temple on the river. This will reduce the distance from Badamba to the rest of the world by 45 km. More than 500,000 people in nearby areas will have access to transportation. The region will develop agriculture, trade and tourism.

The function was attended by Minister  Prafulla Mallick, Badamba MLA Shri Devi Prasad Mishra and the rest of the MLA Shri Devi Prasanna Tripathi.
