Malkangiri, 15/3: In a big development , on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets by Sri M. Anand Rao, Chief District Agriculture officer, Malkangiri, simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance led by 3 DSPs, 7 Inspectors and other staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Hon’ble Special Judge Vigilance, Jeypore at 5 places in Nabarangpur and Malkangiri district;
1. Triple storeyed building located near LIC Office, Nabarangpur.
2. Triple storeyed building located near LIC Office Nabarangpur (under construction).
3. Residential triple storeyed building near China Market, Nabarangpur.
4. Office chamber of Sri Rao located at Malkangiri, Dist-Malkangiri.
5. Residential Govt. Quarter of Sri Rao located at Malkangiri Dist-Malkangiri.
DURING SEARCHES SO FAR, CASH RS.53,000/-, BANK DEPOSITS OVER RS.3.93 LAKH HAVE BEEN UNEARTHED.
