IAS officer Niyaz Khan lands in legal trouble over post on The Kashmir Files; Madhya Pradesh government to issue notice

Bhopal, 25/3: The state government of Madhya Pradesh will send a notice to IAS officer Niyaz Khan, who wrote controversial tweets about the recently released film The Kashmir Files, according to state Home Minister Narottam Mishra.

Last week, Khan, who is deputy secretary of the MP Public Works Department, had urged the makers of The Kashmir Files to also make a film about the “killings of a large number of Muslims across several states” in India, saying that members of this minority community are “not insects, but citizens of the country” in one of the tweets.
