Apart from him, Indian captain Rohit Sharma is also in 8th place. Virat has 742 rating points in his account. Australian batsman Marnus Labuschagne is still the number-1 batsman. At the same time, if we talk about the best all-rounder of Test, then Ravindra Jadeja of India remains on top. He was the best all-rounder in the world in Tests last week as well. Indian all-rounder R Ashwin has gained a place and has come to the second position in the all-rounder’s list.
Australian batsman Usman Khawaja has made the biggest jump in the Test rankings of batsmen. Khawaja has benefited from a stellar performance in the 3-Test series against Pakistan. He had scored 496 runs at an average of over 165 in the recently concluded series. He played innings of 97, 160, 44 *, 91 and 104 * in the series. On the basis of his last two innings, Australia defeated Pakistan by 115 runs in the third Test played in Lahore.
