Bhubaneswar, 9/4: In the wake of the launch of an improved housing (plotting) project called ‘Basudeb Bihar’ at Jagannath Prasad Mouza in Bhubaneswar by the Odisha State Housing Board, its information booklet was inaugurated on Saturday at the ‘Housing Building’ headquarters of the organization by the President, Mr. Priyadarshi Mishra.
The project aims to allocate a total of 165 improved housing units / plots, of which 36 are for the middle income category, 58 are for the middle income category, 32 are for the lower income category and 41 are for the economically disadvantaged. The project is located near the Khandagiri Chandka main road, which runs through Andharua, and on the side of the proposed ESI Hospital. The main road will be connected to the project by a wide road. Each plot of the project will be demarcated and enclosed by a wall, and access to these plots will be made by connecting the internal paved roads to electricity, piped water and drains.
Interested buyers can apply to get a plot of land by paying only 10% of the plot price, taking out a loan from banks to pay the remaining price once the allotment has been received through lottery. Of course, any buyer can apply for the full price of the plot if they want, which will be given priority when allocating. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Mishra, chairman of the association, said that the company was now providing affordable plots and houses to interested buyers in Anugul, including Bhubaneswar. In the coming days, the city is preparing for a number of other housing projects.
